AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce the signing of 19-year-old winger Dominik Wysocki from United Counties League Premier Division South side Daventry Town.
Despite only being 19, Dominik, of Polish descent, has been playing senior football for the past 3 seasons, starting initially with Harborough Town as a 16-year-old before stints at Spalding United, Melton Town and Cogenhoe United. A move to Daventry followed in the summer of 2024, but his progress this season has been hampered by a knee injury, from which he has now recovered.
Dom appeared on trial for the Diamonds in a friendly against Peterborough United U23’s at Hayden Road in the early part of the 23/24 season, and featured against the Diamonds for Daventry in pre-season ahead of the current campaign, catching the eye of Diamonds’ Manager Michael Harriman.
Dominik is available for selection for this weekend’s tie in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division away at Grantham Town.
