Nabil Shariff is one of a small group of players that played for both RDFC and AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
A youth team graduate, Nabs broke into the RDFC first team at the end in 2011, scoring 4 times in 15 appearances.
He also won the Man of the Match award against Kidderminster Harriers in the Club’s final game at Nene Park.
Nabil had 2 spells with AFC Rushden & Diamonds between 2016-2020 and became our talisman for much of that time. Averaging almost a goal every 2 games (44 in 91), there were many highlights, including goals which prompted wild scenes at Leek Town and Alfreton Town, and an FA Cup hat-trick at Tividale.
Nabil Shariff is a definite Diamonds Hall of Famer and will be representing AFC Rushden & Diamonds on Sunday, 30th July.
