The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) is there to support the safeguarding of children, as well as the inclusion of all, including those most vulnerable, in our community, ensuring football is fair and enjoyable for all. Given the importance of the role, the CWO will operate outside of, and independent to, any Club hierarchy, ensuring that the culture and values of the Club hold the highest authority.

Duties include visiting training sessions and matches, carrying out Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for voluntary staff and working alongside The Football Association (The FA) to focus on best practice for grassroots football.
