The draw for the Second Round Proper of the FA Vase was made at FA Headquarters on Monday morning, and AFC Rushden & Diamonds were drawn away at Hullbridge Sports. You can see the full draw on the FA Website here, as well as other information on the competition here, with the Second Round due to be played between 128 teams. The winners of the tie will receive £1200 from the FA Prize Fund.
Hullbridge Sports are from Essex, playing in Hullbridge which is a village near Rayleigh. They play in the Essex Senior League, which is a Step 5 league at the same level as the UCL Premier, and they are currently 5th in that league. They play at Lower Road, Hullbridge, Essex SS5 6LF
The tie has been confirmed for Saturday 22nd November 2014, with admission prices £6 for adults, £3 for concessions, and under 8s will be free.
As usual in this competition, if the scores are level, the tie will go to extra time. If the scores are level after 120 minutes, a replay will be played on Tuesday 25th November at the D&D, kicking off at 7:45pm.
The Diamonds entered the competition at this stage by virtue of their run to the Fourth Round last season.
