RDFC Legend – Jim Rodwell

Jim Rodwell has perhaps become more well-known for his non-playing achievements, but RDFC fans fondly remember his massive contribution to our Club.

The popular, commanding centre half made 208 appearances in total, placing him 7th on the all-time list, and the 2000/01 Conference Title winner also scooped the Supporters’ Player Of The Year in 1999/2000.

Named ‘Britain’s Brainiest Footballer’ in 2002, Jim went on to sit on the Board at Notts County, Scunthorpe, Sunderland, Peterborough, Hull, Charlton, the EFL and the FA Council.

Jim can’t take part on Sunday, 30th July, but he’ll be there.
