Jon Challinor came through the RDFC youth team in 1998, but made his name elsewhere before returning.
He made a scarcely believable 60 appearances for RDFC in the 2007/08 season, scoring 12 goals from a variety of positions.
Jon may be 42 now, but he still plays for Stamford AFC and won the Northern Premier League Midlands Division last season.
He’ll be lacing up his boots on Sunday, 30th July.
