All at AFC Rushden & Diamonds are devastated to learn of the passing of Rod Brown following a period of illness.
A familiar face on matchdays at both Nene Park and Hayden Road, Rod was a Diamond through and through. Part of the staff at RDFC, and more recently Matchday Lead and Head Steward for AFC Rushden & Diamonds at Hayden Road, Rod also served a casual vacancy as a Board Member up until becoming unwell towards the end of last season.
Details of Rod’s funeral will be communicated in due course and arrangements will be made for fans to remember him at an upcoming home game.
