Half-time – Diamonds 1-0 Northampton Town U23s

The very definition of one way traffic in that first half. To their credit Cobblers were able to keep Diamonds out for 47 minutes, but in reality a 1-0 lead is the least the home side deserve.

Full-time – Diamonds 2-2 Northampton Town U23s

The first half was a completely different game to the second with NTFC much more involved as an attacking force after half time. That said, Diamonds will be disappointed that they didn’t win that in normal time after the non-stop first half barrage on the Cobblers’ goal.
