Squad Movement News

There have been a lot of inbound/outbound squad movements over the last few weeks and we thought it would be worthwhile to provide supporters with an update.

ROMEO EBONDO – Romeo joined the Club on dual registration in August, however was recalled by his parent club part-way through October.

HUW DAWSON – Huw has been absent over the past fortnight due to a concussion suffered in our defeat at Belper Town, however, in the intervening period the Club has received a number of approaches and Huw has decided to join league leaders Carlton Town, who are much closer to his home. We wish Huw all the best and thank him for his services in the first half of the season.

NICO JONES – Nico joined the Club on dual registration from Banbury United with an agreement that he would return to Banbury after 3 matches. As a result, Nico has now returned to Banbury.

STEPHAN MORLEY – Stephan joined the Club on dual registration from Coventry United, on a 1-game agreement. Having featured against Sutton Coldfield Town, Stephan has now rejoined Coventry United, however we have retained his NPL registration.

KIERON DAWES – Kieron joined the Club on a short-term agreement from Worcester City and having started in the last three fixtures has now departed the Club. The Club has retained his registration.

RAMELLO MITCHELL – The Club can confirm that Ramello Mitchell has departed the Club after 3 substitute appearances, in search of regular starting opportunities.

LAMINE SHERIF – Lamine joined the Diamonds on dual registration from Spalding United ahead of last Tuesday’s fixture against Carlton Town. Whilst this is another short-term agreement, Lamine will remain with the Club for an indeterminate period. A combative midfield player, Lamine’s former clubs include Accrington Stanley, AFC Telford United and Peterborough Sports.

We have had to navigate a significant amount of injuries over the past few weeks and we thank all the departing players for representing the Club on a short-term basis, and their respective clubs for helping facilitating the short-term agreements.
