There have been a lot of outbound squad movements over the last few weeks and as before, we thought it would be worthwhile to provide supporters with an update.
Lewis Walker’s loan period with Blackstones ended mid-December and subsequently to this he featured in our matchday squad on several occasions over the festive period. Lewis remains part of our plans moving forward however Manager Elliot Sandy believes that for the benefit of his development he needs to be playing regularly. As a result, Lewis has joined Northampton Sileby Rangers on a dual-registration basis and featured for them at the weekend.
Another player who has joined Northampton Sileby Rangers on dual-registration is Jordan Graham. Jordan has found his minutes limited this season and heads to Fernie Fields temporarily to pursue regular game-time.
Raymond Poku – who has remained on dual-registration with Northampton ON Chenecks since signing for the Diamonds in August – has returned to Chens for the foreseeable future and featured for them on Saturday. Ray has featured in most matches for the Club since joining however has been limited mostly to sub appearances over the past few months, so all parties feel that this temporary move is in his best interests.
Lewis Elsom departed the Club before Christmas to join Aylestone Park of the United Counties League Premier Division South, featuring in their past 2 matches. The Club retains his NPL registration.
As mentioned in Elliot Sandy’s post-match interview at Long Eaton, Jeremy Kyezu has been made available for dual-registration owing to an expected reduction in game-time, coupled with the significant distance that Jez travels to play for the Diamonds. He remains part of our squad ongoing.
