After a hastily arranged pitch inspection at 8:30 am, unfortunately today’s fixture against Coventry Sphinx has been postponed.
There were no issues at all with the pitch until heavy rain set in at around 5:00 pm last night.
This morning, as you can see below, there is standing water all over the pitch.
With rain forecast from now until kick-off, sadly the inspecting official has had no choice but to call the match off.
