The Club are saddened to learn of the untimely passing of former Diamond, Lewi Williams.
The first ever competitive goal scored at any level for AFC Rushden & Diamonds was a penalty from Lewi Williams in the inaugural match of the Dale Roberts Memorial Cup against Cleveland Juniors at Kiln Park on 14th August 2011. Lewi’s time at the Club is fondly remembered by those who followed the U18’s during our debut season.
Our thoughts are with Lewi’s family and friends at this very sad time.
