✍️ AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Freddie Robinson from United Counties League Premier Division South side Aylestone Park.
The 24-year-old joins the Club with a wealth of experience at Step 4 and beyond, having previously featured with great success for both Harborough Town and Anstey Nomads, prior to his stay with Aylestone Park at the tail end of last season.
During his time with Harborough Town, Freddie famously scored the opening goal in their Emirates FA Cup tie against Reading, while he also earned recognition as part of the Northern Premier League Midlands Division Team of the Year following an impressive campaign with Anstey Nomads.
Manager Elliot Sandy said: “We’re delighted to welcome Freddie to the Club. He’s a player I’ve tried to sign on a number of occasions, so I’m really pleased he’s chosen to join us. Freddie brings plenty of experience, a winning mentality and real quality in midfield. I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing him in a Diamonds shirt.”
