AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce the signing of 25-year-old goalkeeper Adam Harrison from Southern League Premier Division Central side Bedford Town.
Adam started his career with Bedworth United, Tividale and Worcester City before joining Redditch United in the winter of 2022. Adam would go on to make 85 appearances for The Reds, including 51 last season as an ever-present as Redditch finished 4th in the Southern League Premier Division Central. A move to Bedford Town followed earlier this season and the Club moved quickly to secure his services upon his recent release from the Eagles.
Manager Michael Harriman had this to say on his latest recruit: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring Adam into the group for the remainder of the season. He’s a player with a lot of recent experience at a higher level and comes highly recommended. He’s a commanding presence at the back with his communication and organisation of the defensive unit and we look forward to seeing him out on the pitch.”
Adam Harrison is registered and available for tomorrow’s Northern Premier League Midlands Division fixture away at Coventry Sphinx.
