01/08/24: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce that 18-year-old forward Isaac Redding has signed first team forms with the Club ahead of the 2024/25 season. Having been involved with the Moulton Scholarship programme, Isaac has already cemented himself in to AFC R&D folklore by scoring the winning penalty against Kettering Town in the Hillier Senior Cup Final in May, in what was his second first team appearance. He also scored the winning penalty against Peterborough United U23’s on his senior debut in the Hillier Senior Cup Semi Final. Prolific in junior football, Isaac spent the majority of the 2023/24 season with Wellingborough Whitworth at Step 6, scoring 10 goals in 21 league matches before spending the latter part of the season at Step 5 with Daventry Town, making 6 appearances.

20/09/24: In other squad news, the Club can confirm that Isaac Redding will shortly be moving on loan to United Counties League Premier Division South side Bugbrooke St. Michaels to get some minutes and experience under his belt. We look forward to watching Isaac’s progress and welcoming him back in to the Diamonds squad in due course!
