FA Youth Cup – Preliminary Round – walkover for AFC Rushden & Diamonds – Yaxley withdrawn

We are extremely disappointed to confirm that tonight’s FA Youth Cup fixture against Yaxley has been cancelled following Yaxley’s withdrawal from the competition. The Club will presumably now be given a bye through to the next stage.

The timing of this communication is particularly frustrating, with significant planning, preparation and resources already committed to hosting the fixture and arrangements now having to be unpicked at very short notice.

We are naturally disappointed for our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who were looking forward to the game. We will provide further information regarding the competition in due course but for now, please do not attend Hayden Road this evening.
