23/03/22: AFC Rushden & Diamonds can confirm that 18-year-old winger Lewis Johnson has joined the club on loan from MK Dons until the end of the season. Originally a product of Aston Villa’s academy, he joined MK Don’s academy in 2019, and has since made a number of appearances for their first team, including in the Football League, having signed a professional deal with them in February 2021.
He may be familiar to Diamonds fans, having played against the first team in our 2-0 defeat away to Banbury United back in January, with whom he was previously on loan at. During his time at Banbury, he made 12 appearances for them, scoring 3 goals.
