30/07/25: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are excited to announce the signing of Raymond Poku from Northampton ON Chenecks. Diamonds fans will remember him well as he put two goals past the team in the NFA Hillier Senior Cup match just two weeks ago. He’s also had a blistering start in the United Counties Football League, with 2 goals and an assist for Chenecks in their match last night.
Elliot Sandy spoke on his latest signing “I’m absolutely delighted to bring Raymond Poku to the Club. He’s an exciting young talent with bags of ability and enormous potential. We’ve seen first hand how dangerous he can be and it’s clear he has all the attributes to make a real impact both now and in the future. His pace, technical skill, and hunger to improve make him a fantastic addition to the squad. We’re looking forward to working with him and helping him continue his development in the right environment.”
