23/06/25: AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce that the Club have agreed terms with Will Mellors-Blair as the next signing for the 2025/26 season. Will can play across the frontline or as a No. 10. Will had this to say on his decision to join the Club: “I’m really pleased to be signing for AFC Rushden & Diamonds. After speaking with the management, hearing about the ambition, and seeing the direction of recruitment this summer, it felt like the right move. I’ve played with a few of the lads already, which made the decision even easier. I’m looking forward to getting started and contributing to a strong season ahead.” Will’s past clubs include Hednesford Town, Kettering Town, Stamford AFC, King’s Lynn Town, Solihull Moors, Detroit City and Walsall.

30/07/25: As has been mentioned in Jim Le Masurier & Elliot Sandy’s post-match interviews over the past few days, Will Mellors-Blair will be departing the Club with immediate effect. Will has decided that he needs to focus on new business opportunities and that he would be unable to give the Club the commitment required to remain part of the squad. We would like to wish Will all the best for the future, both inside and outside of football.
